Overall a good app, does what’s it’s supposed to do. I love using it for my hikes. But unfortunately, once you’ve made a list, it’s really buggy when switching trails from one list to another, or even renaming them. Even though I save the changes, they don’t actually apply, and I just lost over a dozen trails after switching them to a new list and deleting the original. The reason I created a new one in the first place is because the original refused to save the name change I gave it.

AllTrails has been my go-to for years for finding hikes. It’s impressively accurate and easy to use; after dozens (hundreds?) of hikes all over the US, I don’t think I’ve ever encountered any “annoyingly”or dangerously inaccurate information. AllTrails Pro is easily worth its price, especially if you catch it on sale. And some of the newer features like the 3D route preview are pretty cool.
Great app but there are some issues. My main problem is that there’s no option in the app to keep the screen on while navigating. It kept turning off and it was impossible to navigate while on bike. I had to download an other app to resolve the issue. All of the other biking/map apps that I use have ‘Keep screen on’ option available. It is a major minus for me!

App is amazing. I used it for the first time on a very remote Trail this peak in the Adirondacks in Upstate New york. It is no understatement to say that this app saved my butt. I was amazed by how accurate it was, and how immensely helpful. No exaggeration, I am definitely not going out on any serious hike without downloading the map first from this app, along with bringing a traditional guidebook and map. If there was a lifelong membership option, I would totally be in
