[App] AnLinux – Run Linux On Android Without Root Access
AnLinux will allow you to run Linux on Android, by using Termux and PRoot technology, you can even run SSH and Xfce4 Desktop Environment!!!

6. Please stop reporting issue about segmentation fault, it is an issue in Termux itself and there is nothing to do with AnLinux. Also stop posting 1 star review about this issue because doing so wont make it fixed.

Hi, the desktop environment failed to install and the vnc server wont start. Not sure what went wrong. Im using android 9.0 on sony xperia xz2.
I’ve installed and run Fedora successfully but I can’t install anything using dnf. It says “error unpacking rpm package…”. I have android 8.0
works great, a part from browser not working I love it, now is there a way to view the desktop with a vn viewer on another device like a computer to have better control?

Desktop environment mot correctly installed VNC server failed to start Using android 9.0 on huawei p20
I’m amazed this actually works without root. Still trying to figure out how to get the desctop up, but kudos to the developers for the great work!

This application is awesome as it actually allows me to run ubuntu under a functional desktop environment. Most alternatives would only have ubuntu run with only it’s core functions installed and if you are lucky, You might have access to an ancient variant of the twm window manager that barely works. It did take a while to install but it seems like everything is working except for maybe some minor graphics drivers for opengl support which I can probably fix manually anyways. Great Job!
Might be better renamed AnGNU – after all, Android has a linux kernel too so it seems the distinction you’re trying to make is between operating systems
Best app for running Linux on Android because others are way too much resources it need but this is integrated with The Phone system as well that easy to learn and configure, but some problem exist when running a few programs like wps office, chrome or Wine. Please help. Overall.. Good job EXA Lab. Team !!!
