CF-Bench – Tests specific device properties

[App] CF-Bench

CF-Bench CF-Bench is (mainly) CPU and memory benchmark tool specifically designed to be able to handle multi-core devices, produce a fairly stable score, and test both native as well managed code performance.

It tests specific device properties you do not regularly see tested by other benchmarks, and runs in a set timeframe.

It does produce some “final” scores, but as with every benchmark, you should take those with a grain of salt. It is simply not theoretically possible to produce a single number that accurately describes a device’s performance.

More information and discussion is available at this application’s thread at XDA-Developers:

You can view results from many devices at:

CF-Bench user reviews :

Amazing! I’ve been using it for over 7 years now, 3 smartphones and 2 tablets. Never disappoints!

Best benchmark app ever. Accurate, consistent and reliable.

It performs very well, worth a try.

Chainfire is a brilliant developer so I had extremely high expectations. This app doesn’t show benchmarks for the later generation of phones, the website looks a little dated, I’d really like to know what the Samsung S4 and S5 a rated at, but alas no mention.

Needs other’s scores to compare to. Otherwise, you just get a bunch of numbers with no meaning.

Works great but the fastest model it has in it’s database is the Samsung S3 which is several years old.

Another user says it didn’t work correctly on nexus 4. He is wrong, it does. Just tried it. Chainfire’s kung fu is the greatest.

My S3 is crap with only a score of 6588 overall. There’s nothing you can do to change this score. Time to upgrade to a one plus as soon my kid gets me the invite….

App works flawlessly as stated but the latest model I can compare scores with is a Galaxy S3. Other than that wished it would save my last score.

I always thought the Samsung Tab 3 was slow, and now I can see it is SLOW

I don’t really understand most of the scores, but I think I did pretty well. 39297, 34372, 36342, for my Galaxy s5. Not so great for my Galaxy tab 2.

My phone, Nexus 4, seems to be the fastest phone according to this app. Okay then..

Man you must be rich with all these great paid apps on google play! Mobile odin, triangle away, super su pro! I bet you are the most known and most supported developer on XDA! Kudos to you my friend!

Compare to know. I was happy with my Nexus 6 — now I am also proud.

41,768 – 42,058, useful info from benchmarks. Let’s you know where your phone needs improvement.

Good app but bad phone, yeah my phone sucks. But again, good app (idk what the hell am I saying…).

Good benchmark. Seeing as how it tests basically all aspects of your SoC. My stock kernel Galaxy Note 2 on Sprint scores in the upper 27k region. No surprise there, as the Note 2 is arguably the best all around phone on the market.

The benchmark shows you plenty of different categories for your review and comparison. Which is top-notch. However, the user interface is very totalitarian and boring.

Ideal to check if your latest stunning Kernel tweak messed up the performance

This app and ChainFire 3D are work great together on Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy S3. I installed both and even installed the experimental/beta drivers. I can now play JUST ABOUT ANY game on the Market. All of the games I had purchased for other devices before, I can now play on my SGS3. SUPPORT THIS DEVELOPER AND BUY THE APP. -h3llsdr0id

Works as expected. Would like to see results for all the Nexus devices (4, 7, Galaxy), as well as the best that’s out there.

Its a nice effort by the developer to evalute ur android system.

Works perfectly! 30391, 18497, 23254. Sprint galaxy s4 on rooted stock rom…no tweaks
