I read some of the other reviews b4 i installed the game, and i thought ‘it cant be that bad’, but sadly, it is quite bad. The gameplay itself is ok, but the computer does get some suspiciously good rolls when needed. Also, 9/10 times the computer will roll first at the start of the game. In addition, the game does not acknowledge that a backgammon is 3x the bet, not 2x.

I really like this game ,I like the soft background lounge music ,I like the caricatures it is a great game . BUT it is not really backgammon .I can beat my opponant, I can gammon my opponant ,but if I get all my men off before my opponant can get even 1 off and he still has men in my house or even sitting on the bar THEN THIS IS BACKGAMMON . I do hope they fix this so that I can give it a 5 star rating

Pretty good game that isn’t too heavy on the battery. There are four basic issues that spoil the game. There is no option to get rid of the multiple ads, usually 2-3, between games! There is no acknowledgement of a backgammon win. When a blot is hit, to get off the bar you throw the dice and you might get 3-1 but you can’t choose which piece goes on which point, the board chooses for you. The animation is very slow in all aspects. That said, it is one of the better games around.

It is a decent game but I would like to see more settings such as flipping the board around and faster AI movement. I find it strange that I can’t enable auto bear off after I initially declined it. But most of all the game is much much too easy. My win record is 9-0 (5 backgammon) and last 4 games on expert. I know it is not luck because the AI makes really stupid moves. I played other Back Gammon games that is much more realistic and challenging. Not bad but suited for beginners.

While playing one gets the feeling of being humiliated. The AI cheats, but insidiously, intermittently. The cheating turns on when the AI feels you are doing too well, and then it’s accidental numbers again until it next decides that it’s time for you to lose. If you are less than rock-stable psychologically I strongly advise against playing. Disgusting dirty stuff. I’m lvl 36, 3.5 mil,787 games on Exp lvl, 50% wins. When the AI wins, it’s not thanks to mastery but rigging. So much for your PhD.

Doesn’t crash when u go to another window like the SNG Gin Rummy (which is still a great game). Player pics of actots and other famous peeps. Five stars because the computer beginner player is too hard imho. And because it seems the computer gets lucky rolls, even though that delusion is all me.
