Super fast virus scanner, but the tradeoff is that it requires an online connection to scan your device. I like the fact that the free version will automatically check both newly installed apps and existing updates. If you’re looking for a lite scanner that’s not bloated with a lot of junk like app killers, battery savers, etc., you may want to consider this one. Bitdefender has had high ratings and a good reputation for as long as I can remember.

The option to watch videos for usage time is very cool. It’s manageable. Just started using it. Everyone needs protection, not price gouged to death!! Services aren’t cheep especially the “acclaimed” ones. Easy to understand. So after trying many services, only getting to use a small potion of what they claim to provide but I cannot try these features unless u buy and spend more money another damn security app!! It’s got real bad. I’m doing my best to learn and manage. Ty Bit

How do you assess a free antivirus on a Samsung tablet if it’s detected nothing? The built in bloatware hasn’t either to be fair, nor have either on my phone (XiaoMi). Either they’re doing a great job or they’ve all failed! Nevertheless, I’ve been trialling this with a view of going all in on a Bitdefender suite across my devices and all seems good so far.

It does what it says it does. Too bad that it’s only useful when installing apps. It doesn’t have a real time protection feature and doesn’t scan online web pages. Only good if you are downloading and installing apps from unofficial sites as google already scans it’s Play Store apps.

Making the great choice for cloud scanning without wasting your precious storage space. Although cloud only is limited to those with Internet access. I’m only concerned that new apps should be scanned after it’s installed. For other AV mobile products does offer offline viruses definitions, do you need to waste your *3G/4G data usage just to update it and a longer scanning time? Compare these two and most would definitely choose Bitdefender AV. * Note:- Some telco in various countries have reduce the 3G/4G data plan significantly, making WIFI access the only option for high bandwidth usage.
