Almost as good as PC experience, but it definitely needs a workaround for restarting when somebody makes a call or similar situation… The other problem is no offline mode. I would love to play it underground or on longer flight, but it does not work. Kind of beats the point of having it on mobile. Might as well bring the laptop.
Amazing game on the S10, No crashes and can run at 60fps smooth like butter. Only gripes I have is that they DO NOT upsate the game often. I have spent $100+ just to get the DLC’S for on-the-go moments, but some of the same bugs that have been fixed on the PC still exist on the mobile version. I really CANNOT recommend this game to anyone unless you want to spend $100+ for the dlc with bugs. Edit: Changing to a 1* review because of the hyperagressive DRM that is in the game. ONLINE ONLY 24/7.
The mobile version has all the same features as the PC version – I was afraid after buying it that it would have a lot of content cut out, but no, it’s all there. I’d just like warn everyone it’s a real battery drain, even with the charger plugged it can cause the phone to lose power, if you close the game temporarily to take a call or use another app, you have to reboot the game, so if you haven’t already saved the game you lose all your progess. Enable autosave in the options before starting.
Same experience as the same PC game, recommended for all Civ lovers for on-the-go game. Only 1 in-app purchase for full version, which is awesome! On S10+ works good. Negatives: works only online, i have no idea why. You cant minimize game, you have to load it again. Sometimes Civ app name appears on the screen even you closed app
