How to Play the Game:
Each player starts the game with a small deck comprised of initiates, goons and followers. Five cards from the deck form a row of available cards on the table; with more than two players, place three available cards between each pair of players.
Each turn, you start with five cards in hand, playing those cards in order to put locations into play, boost your own sanity or reduce that of others, collect conjuring power to acquire new cards, and remove cards from the game. You can use the power of your locations once each turn. At the end of your turn, discard any cards still in hand and all entities and artifacts that you played.
If you lose all of your sanity, you’re out of the game. If you’re the only one at the table who’s still sane, you win. Otherwise, the game ends when the deck runs out and whoever has the most sanity wins.

Love this game. Started with the actual card game which referred me to the iOs app. I have put a lot of time into the game and enjoy it still. Issues with the app is it gets very buggy. Does weird things that dont neccesarily make sense. With that there is also a level up mechanic that doesnt work for my account. I have played enough to get most of the levels. I have beaten all campaign levels with objectives except for the last one seems almost impossible. Great game just wish they would fix it
This app is just too cool! Cthulhu Realms is a solid deck builder with smooth game play,love the card art! LMAO during tutorial,the voiceover is informative and fun. Such an awesome card game app that requires a good strategy,AI mode is AWESOME,perfect solo game. The Lovecraft theme is well done, It’s become my fav deckbuilder app! I like it so much I went to my game store for a print version. convinced the AI is designed to win in camp. mode. I get low value cards and AI has 3+locations?
I wish there was a way to win against even easy ai. I just play to see how long it takes the ai to destroy me. Pretty depressing. I wish it could be entertaining instead. Maybe try to make one like that.
perfect port of the tabletop version! was a little hard to find (it has never been in my suggested apps lists) but im glad i did! the one time in game purchase to unlock the online play is worth it, though you will have to wait a few minutes to connect with another player. only downside is i wish there were more missions and maybe some hero/star realms character pack/command deck style starting decks for a shake up! if you are on the fence and havent played star/hero realms, try this!
