Cx File Explorer user reviews :

Hey.. this thing’s got promise. Early impressions indicate the developers of this ‘droid FM have got a serious clue on the design & functions areas, which after all makes for real usability at *our* end. (Yep, like most of ya I’ve tried the others: 100% ho hum.)

This is the app I’ve been looking for for months, having tried and discarded a dozen other file managers. I develop music in Python on a Chromebook, the complication being that my Python interpreter runs on the Android side, which is only partly visible in the ChromeOS file app. Cx Fileexplorer integrates the two perfectly, unlike all the other – its Library view is marvellous, showing separate folder trees for music and source files automatically. Recommended.

Found my ES replacement. Had to search for an alternative when ES made it difficult to stream from my local network. This also doesn’t contain a bunch of extra “features” that are useless. Straightforward home menu that let’s me navigate easily between SD card, network, and tablet storage. I love being able to add network folder shortcuts on my tablet for quicker access. Search function works for both my local and network drives. You can also add cloud services but I have yet to try it. Thanks so much developers.

Generally, I like this. It is fast and easy to use and works well with usb and network. However, I am torn between this and my long serving ES File Explorer. ESFE sometimes renames files when copying and does not overwrite. It also renames 4 character extensions such as .xlsm. Cx File Explorer does not have these problems. But CXFE unfortunately changes the date of all files copied to the current date. ESFE preserves the date correctly. If CXFE is fixed to preserve the date, I would give it 5*.

This is the best Android File Manager I’ve ever used on any of my Phones / Tablets/ TV Boxes (Sideloaded on Android TV Box) The developers have finally made a file manager for Android that has the best User Interface on the Android Planet. I have told everyone i know to install this App and once they do they can’t believe how good it is. I only discovered where the Hidden Files option was today. My suggestion is to make it an option in the main settings. I move files from my devices on home network to Google Drive/ My home Network Drive or whatever i want to do with my Xiaomi MI A1 Running Oreo. AMAZING App. Double 5 Stars if i could do it.

o far this is the only file manager that still works with OneDrive cloud. It suddenly stopped working on my original file manager and every other one I’ve tried since. I just wish this app worked on my Firestick, as that OneDrive connection was the easiest way I had to copy files over to it.

Love this file explorer. i have not done much yet but the little that I have done proved this App the best of all apps if the developer will not eventually add ads and demanding for purchase. It worth paying however but I have to examine the app very well then i may give freewill donation. Thanks developer.
