DNS 1.1.1.1 user reviews :

Great app, but it would be nice if the lock icon and notification wasn’t on permanently. Like… This is just a set and forget app, I don’t need to know 24/7 that it’s on (I’m not planning to turn it off). So many apps do this now; kinda annoying.

It looks good so far but, as others have commented, I’d REALLY like to hide that key icon. I know I’m in the minority but I turn off every notification that I don’t really need to see, and this is definitely one I don’t really need to see. It should be set and forget. I’ve tried every setting I can find and the key just won’t die.

Basic simple app and gets the job done. People complaining about the lock icon. It’s because of Android. If you open the notification tray and long press the notification, you can go to the notification settings and set the priority to low. This will remove the notification permanently.

So far works fine with no noticable slow down. For anyone and everyone asking about the icon, assuming you have Android 8 and higher, go to the notification settings and make sure VPN is set to “no sound or visual interruption”

Great app, if possible, please add a feature to allow it to be toggled via network or at least WiFi/mobile. For example my home WiFi already uses 1.1.1.1, so it’s redundant to have the VPN app running at home

Nice simple app. Unrooted phones typically can’t change dns with the exception of private dns on pie. Only way around it is to run a VPN ‘proxy’ for dns queries. Also there is no way to hide the key, it’s a VPN in a way, you want to know when that is running or not.

It took me all of 30 seconds to see that this app has upped up my browsing performance by a very noticeable margin. So much so that it really shames Comcast’s DNS.

Free, does what it says, nice to have some privacy back and did I mention free? I don’t really care about a key notification at the top like many do on here. If anything I like to know it’s active….

It’s a good app. But would be much better if it reconnect automatically when you’re back within internet range after disconnecting when you have no internet….. Please consider this change please….

Great App…I never expected from cloudflare….hats off to you guys…it will really useful to all

My internet is slightly better by like 10-15 ping which is nice but not insane. The app is amazing it has almost no load time and a flawless ui. Good app.

The best thing about the app is that it’s absolutely free. No need to pay and no in-app purchases. And also it’s fast , really appreciate Cloudflare
