I do enjoy using the app, but the people running it can be cocky if you have a problem and need to talk to them. I just hope it doesn’t happen again. Besides that, I feel like if they’re are broken items on the menu and you report them somebody should be looking into it tk fix them, or add possible options on menus like no egg and double sausage for breakfast menu items. They try to work with you and refund or partially refund you, especially if the food item is stale, like chips or is missing.
LOVE this option. The only two issues I have is that the driver doesn’t read the drop-off text on my acct and will often leave at the right door but at the wrong hotel. (I stay at one of three hotels on the same street. And always list the hotel. It boggles my mind and frustrates customer service to the point where they have the driver take a photo of the left food at the door…and then i have to call them to tell them wrong hotel. Issue 2. Getting to customer service isn’t easy on this app).
Always have my food while it’s still HOT! Always delivered right on time and just what I ordered is always right! I love this app and it’s so much better and more affordable than waiter. I used waiter for a long time, and then I found DoorDash! I am a nurse who works with COVID patients and after 3 days straight, 16 hours, running on concrete floors…well on my first day off, all I want to do is sit down and be lazy! Thanks for helping me feed the kids on my lazy days.
Good improvements over the past year. Now the app runs very smoothly. My gripe is that there needs to be more ways to add additional items like dips and sauces. Upcharging is fine, but I want the option. I’ve ordered wings where the restaurant does not provide enough sauce, and the app does not give me any options to add more. The result is that I don’t order from those restaurants. Also, there needs to be a way to choose how well meat is cooked for steak and chicken wings. Needs more options!
