Family Locator alerts you when your family members have checked in at a location and thanks to GPS sensors in your phone, family locator can also advise if someone is running late.
Finding Family
The Life360 app uses state-of-the-art GPS location technology to report the real-time whereabouts of those that have accepted your invitation to join your circle and share their location. Simply install the Life360 Family Locator app on your phone, and invite your family. Once registered, each member appears as a unique icon on the navigational map so you’ll know exactly where they are. No need to send annoying “Where are your?” or “What’s your ETA?” texts, the Life360 Family Locator puts this information at your fingertips. And to make life super easy, we send you alerts the moment your family arrives at an appointed location!
In order for our app to work properly, we need a few permissions. Don’t worry – when you create an account, we help you through this quick and easy process.
Location – Life360 locates you and your loved ones on a shared, private map. This setting allows us to show location accurately and quickly.
Phone permission – Life360 has a feature called Driver Care Support that, with a single push of a button, connects you to a live representative over the phone. Our live representative knows who you are and where you are to assist in roadside situations such as tows, jumps, and lockouts. We also offer an immediate emergency response in the case of a vehicular collision. Phone permissions allow us to connect your phone to the live representative and authenticate that you are the one calling them.
Network – This connects you to the Internet and allows us to send and receive location information to and from family members on your private map.

This is an awesome way to keep tabs on family members, especially kids. It is very accurate and the trip history is a great way to make sure young drivers are doing what they are supposed to be doing . We have 1 child Im sure would have had a wreck or a ticket by now were it not for knowing they were monitored by Life360. 5 stars for sure.
I love this app. I don’t worry as much about my teen drivers now that I can see where they are with a quick peek at my phone. I can also monitor their speed, which is good when you have a son with a lead foot! My husband and I can keep tabs on when we’ve left work to come home, so dinner plans can be made. I recommend this to everyone!
This app was working fine for me until I purchased a Samsung S8. Now I constantly get notifications that it is “updating location” and/or “location permissions are off”. Even if I dismiss them, they come right back. I keep my phone location turned off generally to conserve battery. I use the app to track my kids. Using it in this manner has never given me problems when I had an S6.
I’ve used this ad for several yrs. I have a single daughter. She keeps tabs on us & we on her. It’s piece of mind. We all agree on limits & it’s for our safety & hers. I dont pay its fine. Would recomend for many famlies. Cell phones are with us daily. Life is being tracked by all your apps. Why not get some use from your GPS.
I really enjoy this app! My boyfriend and I are in a long distance relationship and it just helps us keep track of each other even while we’re miles apart. The only thing I wish for is that there could be just one or two extra alerts for the free users. I honestly don’t want to pay for this app. Otherwise, it’s great!
Works all the time, and reliably accurate. Plus reporting weekly, That was my opinion until I updated my phone to Android Pie. Now it keep insisting that I did not authorize “location services”. The app is not usable now. What a lose. I am sure an update is on its way…
I absolutely love this app, I am 13 and my mom and sister are in the circle. I really love how you can get a notification when somebody in the circle enters the location you have set. This feature really helps let me know when my dad comes to pick me up from school, 5/5, I would totally recommend this app to parents.
This App is great for keeping track of loved ones. Effortless and accurate can best describe it. My wife and I have used this app for several years so I have a good feel for it. Just wish I had known about before my wife’s phone was stolen about 4 years ago.
The best location sharing app ever. This app helped me in finding my stolen phone. Through this app I was able to reach to the thief along with the police men. I really appreciate the work of developers and thanks a lot for all such efforts you guys are putting on it.
