With FreeFlight Jumping, piloting your Jumping Minidrone is ultra-simple.
The app connects to your Minidrone via Wi-Fi. The accelerometer and touch controls on the piloting interface help navigate your drone based on the movements of your smartphone or tablet.

By becoming a member of the Parrot Academy, you can keep track of all your adventures and connect with other drone pilots. Share your photos, videos and data sessions with other members of the Parrot Academy and instantly upload to YouTube or Facebook. In addition, you get a free backup of all the data shared on Parrot Academy.

Purchased 3 of these jumping drones in 2017 for my kids, at the time the app worked but would drop connection and the 90 degree turns would make it frustrating to control. So we put them away to await for an update to fix the minor problems. We have tried them again only to find the app is now useless, drops connection alot, icons wont load, control input is delayed and camera freezes and lags so bad. Parrot have been promising a fix for years, no fix is coming. Wont buy from parrot again.
I like the drone but it won’t let me tilt my device to steer and I don’t know why. It ruins the whole thing because I can only turn in 90 degree angles. These people don’t respond either, at least not to reviews, I haven’t read to see if they only do email but I’m knocking it down to a 2 star NOT. HAPPY.and I mean if it works 4 u then great it’s probably amazing if I could steer it would be 5 star…. but…. the steering doesn’t work so… for now it’s staying at a 2 unless things change
App is not very intuitive. It seems to require quite a few updates. Also, connects via wi-fi, not bluetooth, which requires disconnecting from drone. Just, overall a bit of a clunky implementation.
The buttons do not load in drive mode. When i go into drive mode, fifty loading circles appear on the screen with varius functions, 2 do jumps, one rotates the drone, one is the throttle, and a bunch at the top of the screen that i cannot figure out. If they actually appeared, i could tell what they do.
Why so hard to connect marshall to xiaomi pocophone f1 with Android 10 and miui 11.0.4? Icons and controls are completely broken. More worse, everytime I reopen the app, the display ia different (kinda like fullscreen, but drone cannot connect, ai must reinstall and install the app again). Please fix this.
Allows easy control of drone. Even though any wifi conection lag a little the direct video streaming , with this app you do not notice. I tested with parrot sumo jumper and got it working rigth from rhe begining. It is quite intuitive.
