[App] Frequency Generator
Simple and Accurate
Use the cursor or the keyboard of your smartphone to adjust the frequency, then click “PLAY” to play the tone.
Multiple use cases
Test your hearing and that of your surroundings by determining the range of frequencies that you are able to hear.
On average, the human ear perceives frequencies between 20Hz and 20000Hz, but this perception can deteriorate with age, especially for frequencies close to ultrasound.
Experience the acoustic beat phenomenon: For example, launch the application on two devices and then generate a frequency of 440Hz on one and 443Hz on the other.
You will then hear a “beat” of frequency 3Hz. This phenomenon is frequently exploited by musicians to tune their instruments by ear.
Test your speakers and other audio devices.
The generated signal is a sine wave.
Frequency Generator user reviews :
Very good. It does what it says. That’s it. It is very simple to use and you can write the exact frequency that you want, even with decimal point. Recommended
Works. Does what it says. Out of the box
I hear it but older people can’t, which is quite funny
It’s a good app … I use it to teach my students…
This is accurate in generating frequencies and also it’s simple and small in size, some people say that when you write the frequency, it won’t work but you need to finish/pressing the “Done” button to change the frequency.
I like the app and I use it for fun and to the bass on speakers I would definitely recommend this app and for you download
I love this. I just installed it for my puppy. Unfortunately it doesn’t go high enough to really get her attention. But its fun to watch her reaction when I randomly slide it back and forth. She does that silly little head tilt. I also tested my ears and I can hear up to19300. Its a really good app
