love drive. always used it. simple. robust. never found any need to go elsewhere. for kicks i’ve tried Other storage platforms. Some have their strong points but Drive handles it all. No glitches or circuitous idiosyncratic share interfaces plus I use Chrome and Gmail and have all my photos in Photos. it all syncs swell and does what I need. Deride as you will. spokes align & I feel fine

FOR ALL THOSE WHO ARE FACING AN ISSUE WITH SYNCING DATA OVER GDRIVE APP – (It shows no data/files when you open the app but it works fine on desktop) – I also belonged to the same category. Got really pissed. But finally got over the issue by doing this – Uninstal drive. Then download previous version apk file of drive from google. I have downloaded 22.08.18 apk file size 29mb. It worked fine for me! I believe there’s a bug in the latest version of the app. So turn off auto update. Hope it helps

I love my relationship with Google! I feel they make a concerted effort to maintain the privacy of my account. They protected and locked my account when I kept forgetting my password. They unlocked it when they were able to verify my ownership of that email address. Although it was inconvenient for a short time, I appreciated the verification process they used to prove my ownership.

I’ve used this app for work for years but recently its bordering on unusable. i get constant crashes, files not uploading and after checking a lot of files to upload it often just cancels all that out if i attempt to check another, this happens completely at random. it’s made my job a lot more frustrating so i may need to look for a good alternative unless this is fixed.

This is awesome as it is..and I have a small request, can you guys please add a feature so that when we press folder info it would be easy to check the number of items in a folder. at present I am selecting all the items in a folder to know the number of items and then I’ll just be clearing the selection ( it takes a bit time ) . in my opinion having a feature like that would help make sure all items have been backed up. would love to see this in future updates.

Each new update the Google Drive is more usable. The new spreadsheets editor was a much needed feature but the lack of colors and a formula guider are a drawback for me. Although the app is now good to throw some ideas for later further editions on PC. Other functionality that I would much appreciate is be able to download a file from my drive to my phone.

I have been using google docs for some time. I enjoy the changes of google drive, specially the rather smooth transition. I hate to have to read 10 pages of a manual to discover how to do things I have been doing for a long time. The simultaneous editing remains a big plus. I trust the new features will be as good, but, I need to work with them first to get a better feel
