Inshorts requires the following permissions. Your privacy is critical for us and the app never uses photos, videos and other media files, make calls, send messages or save and/or distribute device information.
Photos/Media Files: The app needs access to the device’s storage to save the representational images, so that you have a good experience even without internet connectivity. This is also needed to send the image along with the text when you share a short.
Device Information: The app needs the Device ID to identify and solve technical issues.

I loved using Inshorts. All the news are summarised pretty nicely and can be easily understood by anyone who has basic English knowledge. However, lately, I feel Inshorts is leaning way too much on Bollywood stuffs. Like I am not interested to know about Deepika’s marriage or Swara Bhaskar’s statement. But, those news are available in between every 3 swipes. This thing has brought down the utility of this app to me and I am thinking of uninstalling it. Hope this gets better someday. Anyway, kudos to you guys!

I love this and with all the key information it provides. It saves my time and at the same time it keeps me updated on all the key current affairs. It saves you from a lot of negative energy that u get after seeing news channel and reading news papers. A must download and you l be used to with it.
