JW Language is an official app produced by Jehovah’s Witnesses to help language learners improve their communication skills in the ministry and at congregation meetings. It includes phrases, pictures, and activities for language learning.
Language Selection
After installing the app, select your primary language and the language you are learning. Choose from the following languages: Arabic, Bengali, Chinese Cantonese (Traditional), Chinese Mandarin (Simplified), Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Kurdish Kurmanji, Low German, Malay, Myanmar, Nahuatl (Central), Persian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Romanian, Russian, Somali, Spanish, Swahili, Tagalog, Tamil, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese.

Romanization is not available in Grammar at this time
Grammar audio uses the text-to-speech feature of your device; the languages and audio can be configured in your device settings
Grammar is available in all languages, except Arabic and Low German

The app quality is amazing as everything from Jehovah’s witnesses is. As soon as it opens it’s clean, and simple. It is PACKED with tools to help learn quickly, even on the spot. Zero bugs. Every language. J.w. have translated the bible into more languages then anyone on earth, even Google. To give an idea of how much is actually here. Great work follow Jesus, worship Jehovah.
I had a problem with this app taking about half a minute to open. I had to uninstall it because of a lack of space on my device, but when I downloaded it again, the loading times were fixed, and now it opens as quickly as JW Library. This is just a tip for those who might have this problem (and also something the developers may want to look into, though maybe the problem was caused by some obsolete buggy version that was somehow still affecting me, who knows). Worth the five stars now though.
My 10 year old son can use this app easily even without my assistance to learn a basic communicate language between friends or neighbors, which may speak another mother tongue. Its Amazing! There are qued pictures with verbal words and phrases for simple learning and understanding. Highly useful!
I tried so many other apps and resources but after being told by so many language teachers that the language will stick with you by learning the things that are most important to you, I quickly realized this app really was 85% of the process. I don’t need much else.
The app is amazing. But there is a bug (at least in my device) in “activities game”. I used this feature to practice a new vocabulary but not all words from my collection is used. Even when I repeat the game the same few words are used… never the whole vocabulary of my collection.
I am first a visual learner, secondly tactile. This app is such a blessing as it has all the visual tools i need to memorize & associate words with forms. I am taking Spanish in college & will suggest this app to my fellow students. I am most excited to apply what ive learned in this app at work & out in the ministry!
I really enjoy the way it is designed. Simple for those of us who are technologically challenged. Thanks go to everyone who had a part in the creation of this necessary tool for use in my future ministry. Again, thank you thank you! I hope to praise Jehovah in a second language one day.
Very useful, practical, clear, easy to understand, enjoyable, encouraging. It makes you wanting to learn more and more. Wonderful lenguage learning tool!
User friendly, practical and nicely illustrated. Also shows dignity and respect for human body as they translate and show various pictures of body parts.
I’m saying it’s an wonderful app but maybe if you can fix the load that always takes a while when I first go into the app I will love to give this a five star but please fix the loading problem
It backs up all the collections I make that way even when my data is off I can still keep myself busy looking and lear ing through the activities. I have 3 languages so far and I’m a sturdy work in progress
With this app i can easely learn another lenguage without having to use a translator. And now i can speak to others in a diffrent lenguage!.
