Lastpass Password Manager user reviews :

The new policy that limits usage to a single type of device (mobile or desktop) is a deal-breaker for me. After 3 years of using laspass I moved to a different service. I had a very bad time moving as the export files generated by laspass are corrupt. I had to manually check over 700 lines in a csv file.

Every year or so they lock me out of being able to use the app for a few months. Biometric verification doesn’t come up, myaster password doesn’t work, and the recovery process errors out. Then they release an update 2 months later that makes it work again. I should just transfer all my passwords to a notebook, it’s probably more secure and I’m only locked out for however long it takes to physically get to the notebook, instead of months at a time. Ugh

Update 4/20/22 to 3 stars: Switched my browser. Still not as good as iOS but works better than before. It’s manageable. Not sure if ill renew my premium though b/c of this …it ran seemlessly with Apple OS. It also runs quite well as an extention on multiple desktop browsers. On Android phones? Hot garbage. The Autofill feature is super inconsistent and a battle to get it to work. I have to go into the app directly and copy/paste my username and passwords way too often…

  • Hi Em, thank you for your feedback. We continue to work on improving autofill in our android app.
Since some time, you have to choose between phone application or computer application if you use the free version. Switching between the two of them is limited. I do not find any instructions on creating new folders via phone app, so I must conclude it’s not possible. This means that my usage of the free version can only last as long as I don’t have the need to switch versions, which I do now if I want some extra folders.. I’ll have to look for a different vault I’m afraid.

What you know you should do So, I have been using this on my office PC, home iMac, android phone and tablet. I finally took the leap of using the last pass generated passwords. It is scary not knowing my passwords. Yet there is a peace of mind that a fail at one website or another cannot reveal all my passwords any more. I only have to remember one master password for lastpass and last pass does the rest.

GreatGreat but needs better UI It works flawlessly but sometimes its cumbersome. Needs an UI update.
