Get your media on the TV with LocalCast !

Features:
Cast movies, pictures, videos and PDFs
… from your device, Google Drive, Google+, Dropbox, NAS (DLNA / UPNP or SMB)
Use your phone as wireless headphones !
Rotate / Zoom pictures and movies
Pan pictures
Add subtitles and change the subtitle font size
Open a movie stream in your browser then hit the share button and choose LocalCast or
Copy a link to a movie and choose “Paste link” in the app
internal subtitles which are inside the video container don’t work YET
arabic subtitles: Please change the encoding in the settings to UTF-8
Usage is pretty easy:
1. Connect to a Chromecast
2. Choose what to stream

The best I’ve found for my phone The app always connects to my Chromecast, plays .mkv files without problems and does so at 60fps. Worth subscribing to ensure the app sticks around and to remove ads.

Well no longer Connect to my Chromecast. Unistalling. Do not waste your time with this now worthless app. It USED to work fine

Except for the obtrusive full page ads it’s pretty good better than most why not Heat a banner ad? Plays audio local on device and tv great for late night Or private I guess but no way to control volume level
