Disappointing. After ads play, game plays background music even though I’ve turned the volume off in the game settings – I have to adjust the volume up and down again to turn off again. Then, to turn off ads, they want an ongoing subscription instead of a one-off payment ?! Better alternatives are available … Update: The developers got back to me, for which I’m adding another rating star. Their workaround is to turn down the media volume on my phone instead of in the game. Fair enough.

EDIT: If you experienced the bug that made the game unable to launch properly, they have since fixed it. I just had to uninstall and reinstall since then to make the game operate. That being said, it works great now. Still riddled with unskippable ads, but what do you expect from a free game I guess. If you’re a fan of Sudoku puzzles, from beginner to advanced, this is a great game. And for you Xbox players out there, it’s an easy and fun way to add to your gamerscore.
