Open Camera is a fully featured and completely free Camera app for Android phones and tablets. Features:
Option to auto-stabilize so your pictures are perfectly level no matter what (see example image).
Zoom via multi-touch gesture and single-touch control.
Touch to select focus area and metering area (metering area is used to determine exposure).
Support for flash, torch, focus modes, scene modes, color effects, white balance, ISO, exposure compensation, exposure lock, face detection.
Video recording (with optional audio, and support for video stabilization).
Option to lock orientation to portrait or landscape for photo or video.
Timer (with optional voice countdown).
Auto-repeat mode, with configurable delay.
Optimise GUI for left or right-handed users.
Configurable volume keys.
Choice of save folder (including support for Lollipop’s Storage Access Framework).
Disable shutter sound.
Overlay a choice of grids (including “rule of thirds”) and crop guides.
Optional GPS location tagging (geotagging) of photos and videos; for photos this includes compass direction (GPSImgDirection, GPSImgDirectionRef).
Apply a date and timestamp, location coordinates, and custom text to photos.
Support for external microphones (may not be supported by all devices).
Widget to automatically take a photo after launching.

Privacy Policy: Location permission is required for geotagging of photos, but this is disabled by default. If enabled, your location is encoded in the saved image files (and it is only used for this purpose).

This is the best camera app I have now on my Nexus 5, the only thing it doesn’t do is the photosphere but anything you want for scenes, focus, flash and exposure control. It’s all in here thanks for making this app free
Great app. Almost perfect. But can you add some sort of noise reduction feature? This seems to be the only thing keeping it from 5 Stars at this point. At least for my note 4.
A piece of art! Very pleased with the update, and saving to sd-card works perfectly. I made a mistake at first trying to select the sd-card folder through the ‘Save location’ setting only to find out it didn’t work. Only when I selected the ‘Storage Framework’ setting right below the ‘Save location’ entry the system storage dialogue opened up and I was able to select the sd-card folder. Works like a dream! Many thanks!!!
