  Peninsular War Battles places you at the forefront of Napoleon’s campaign to conquer Portugal and Spain.

Play is possible as the British, French or Spanish across 5 campaigns with a total of 40 missions. Peninsular War Battles is the most advanced wargame from HexWar yet! The missions represent well researched representation of the major battles of the period with a full range of tactical options available to all the commanders. There are 64 different combat units, each in an accurate depiction of the uniforms, colours and flags of the period. The in-depth game systems allows infantry units to form line, column or square while light infantry units may skirmish in open order. Victory in most battles will go to the commander most able to utilize the combined arms benefits of infantry, cavalry and artillery to the best effect.

I have been a Napoleonic tabletop Wargamer for decades and have wondered why no decent games available….well here it is. The tactics are fair enough and more important Equal for both sides. The idea of purchasing further campaigns is refreshing and reasonable I will be getting those and looking at further games by yourselves.Well done on all levels.

As a big fan of the Napoleonic era there are some glaring errors in the game. Infantry attacked by Infantry do not go from line or column into open order or square. The Spanish troops should be at a disadvantage against the French the history of the Peninsular conflict shows that quite clearly. British musketry was far superior to almost everyone else. French do not attack in line but in column and try to break lines but fire at a much reduced effect compared to a line. Where is the alternative for having cannon fire grape or howitzers firing shells? Cavalry attacking infantry in open order should almost always destroy them because in reality that’s what happened, the same goes for attacking infantry in line and column. It’s a good little game as far as it goes but it doesn’t go far enough, make those changes though and I might be tempted to give you a higher rating.

In the same place as a number of others here: getting nothing but a black screen post-installation. Tried a number of various options: switching phone off and then on again, attempted re-installations, etc. Problem is definitely linked to Samsung tech

Despite the fact that it is required to purchase other levels, the game alone is really fun and strategic.

fun game, plays fast . I have had some problems with it crashing mid game so I’m reloading it

really enjoyable game, like the diffrent units and missions but quite expensive for all the levels.

Its a okay game cav sucks you have to buy almost all of the missions and damage you do to enemy units sucks the hit to miss ratio is awful as well

Its fun , its spot on . The only issue is the use of calvary , they make them to weak .

This game is very difficult that the other Hex war games, so I hope that the developers can fix this problem.

for some reason it won’t download at all but i give the review because of how the civil war games are like this game and it looks really fun

wow amazing game this is its like you make a game with your own troops :).

The mb of the game is to big my phone almost broken but good game but little expensive

love it teaches people the background history of Europe I highly recommend this game
