First look? Does what it says. Nothing more, nothing less. Only thing I would do is incorporate its sister app “photo meta data viewer” into it.

Double check your pictures before sending. its still not removing the data if you chose the library option. It only works if you remove the data from each picture one at a time In response to developer, yes I had no other images on my device and just 2 albums .one album of the original photos and one album created from this app. I checked both and it wasn’t. removed from any photo in either album

Thanks for the review & sorry about that. It shouldn’t happen, so we’ll look into it. Meanwhile, if you are using the default settings (make metadata-free copies of photos instead of removing directly), also make sure that the copies (not the original files) are the ones being checked. Regardless, we’ll look into the issue.

Nice App. One suggestion: are you willing to release paid version with no ads? If so, will buy the paid version.

Leaves date and time stamp both in the original and new copy even if I use the remove metadata directly from the original settings.

Hi there, thanks for the review. Is it Exif date time, or file system date time? Exif date time should be removed; but currently on Android, file creation date time can’t be changed without root (but it is usually not sent along when you send/share the file, unlike Exif date time).

Great finally found an app that scrambles Metadata and not just talks about it, like so many others. Thank you. Btw, is there a way to scramble taken date, too?

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to post a review. Dates in Exif metadata are already removed. If you’re referring to the file creation date, unfortunately Android would require root to change those – but file dates aren’t sent with the files when you send or upload your photos (only Exif metadata dates are, which are removed). Thanks again!

Love it, one thing I’d like added is you could pick a folder and it could recourse folders inside the folder and maintain the folder structures if would be 100% perfect.
