Amazing for an initial release! Keep up the amazing work, Google! I’m sure this is in the making, but thought I’d mention it: the “scanned” resolution needs to be higher. This is a 8MP camera, taking 5 photos. So should at least stay around 8MP, no? (Minus the crop, I know) Pro tip: enable us to add/edit the timestamp of the scanned photos. Now it seems they were shot “today” but we actually want them to be dated e.g. 30 years ago. Just a thought.

The app is great but please fix Google Photos! Every since Google stopped supporting Picasa there has been no way to manually geotag and tag faces. Also adjusting the dates is a huge pain since you have to edit them one by one in Google Photos. This is an app where those features would REALLY come in handy. So please oh great developers at Google. Face tagging, geotagging and date/time editing should be built into this app!
