I’ve seen the anime last year when it aired, I liked it ery much, I checked how the game play of the game was. Kinda liked it and when I saw that they’ll translate the game I knew I should install it so I pre-registered. SOOOO. So so so, if you’re new and don’t know for sure if you want to install it, watch the anime, or not, the choice is yours. (Talking in the backstage) “It’s this all? Did I miss something, okay? Right, I’ll go play the game then” the sound of steps fades away of the room.

The presentation is really impressive. I’m not far enough in to say how the gameplay holds up (it’s pretty basic so far, but there seems like it could go somewhere), but the story content is really impressive — it’s half anime, half visual novel, but they’re intermixed rather well, and very high quality. There’s also a *lot* of story content between the main story, guild stories, and character stories! I look forwarding to seeing more as I play.

Character design is very cute and va is fantastic. On gatcha side it’s fair. Manual combat is is a bit boring and sometimes frustrating as player can’t control what target to focus and can just time burst manually. The worst part about the game is Battle Arena “pvp”. Some team comps are just impossible to defeat because of 4 tank teams that have to be defeated within time limit. Princess Arena is at least better than BA as you can’t do that, at least not yet, which will happen eventually.

Simple and not too grindy. I complete my dailies fairly quickly and still have fun doing it. It’s story is pretty simple: lost memory protagonist… Pretty common one. So far I don’t feel like I’m impossibly far behind everyone else like in other games, though the gap is starting to widen more and more.

Priconne is a very casual game. My daily experience ranges from playing for 5 minutes or an hour. Many of the high rarity units can be farmed, although the amount that can be farmed is time-gated. You could get a lot of them by playing diligently for about a month. The core game is autobattling while activating skills and the depth is in team-building for fights. The story, dungeon, clan battles, etc. have different innate strategies. Story and characters feel kind of generic and fluffy.

Stamina consumption is too much, Stamina regenerates Every 6 min. (240 Stamina per Day) so you have to login use stamina for 2-3 map runs, close game wait for 2-4 hours then do 2-3 mapp runs again, like uh, that is the case for new players (or F2P players) specially those that have a max stamina of 20-40 at early like me, grinding items on maps, or getting 2 shards per login …………………………………………………………………………………….. Well it is a gacha game

Only one thing that needs to be changed is the battle arena. Extend the time to 2 minutes so many stalemates can be settled. Also why should a 5 vs 1 count as a loss just because of the time running out? It’s a battle against other players party. It should be a win when you have more characters left than the opponent. Also how about rotating the shards in the marketplace once in a while? The dungeon, arena and princess arena coins will soon be worthless for shards because of no rotation

This game is good, wholesome, fun. The girls are all super cute and have endearing side stories. The gameplay really takes a backseat, so if you’re looking for a super intuitive anime themed mobile game, this might not be the one for you. However, what this game does have is a voiced story, with animated scenes as well, all compiled into a heartwarming and wholesome story. People complain about the gacha, but I think it’s comparatively generous to other gacha games. Maybe I’m just lucky?
