Smart Contact Reminder – Get in touch straight from notifications

[App] Smart Contact Reminder – Call, messages

Smart Contact ReminderSmart Contact Reminder : Stay in touch with important people in your life, like your friends, family, and colleagues, with the Smart Contact Reminder app.

Main features:

integration with system contacts
receive notifications with contact reminders
permanent notifications making sure that you don’t forget
fuzzy contact reminders scheduling notifications to random times
get in touch straight from notifications
make contact using your favorite messaging app or make a call
automatic detection of contact from notifications of other apps
keeping your contact history
keep notes of your last contact to remember

Setting contact reminders:
Smart Contact Reminder will remind you when you’ve not contacted your friends for some time. It allows you to set the time period between reminders in days, weeks, months and even years. To avoid getting in touch with your contacts in uniform intervals, Smart Contact Reminder allows you to add some randomness to your contact reminders.

Stay in touch:
When the contact is due, a notification is showed reminding you it is time to get in touch with your contact. You can get in touch with your contacts straight from the notification using your favorite messaging application or make a call.

Log your contact:
After a successful contact is made, a log should be created to plan the next reminder. Logging a contact is easy with our new ‘Automatic contact detection’ feature which uses notifications from other apps to figure out if you’ve been in touch with your contacts and offers quick contact logging.

Notifications don’t work? Some manufacturers apply aggressive power-savings that block reminders of our app. To fix this, follow instructions for your phone brand here: dontkillmyapp.com/

Smart Contact Reminder user reviews :

Pretty good for reminding to keep in touch with people. One star was docked for long-standing issue where it would get into state that would not save changes to grouping or contact logging, but afaik these are fixed now.

  • Hi Graham. Thank you for your review :) Is there anything the app could do better to deserve 5 stars? We always appreciate feedback from our users. Don’t hesitate to get in touch via the in app feedback form, email or in here.
nice app BUT! you cant really use it without premium. If its okay for you to pay 3€/year go for it… (1 star because I downloaded a free app I cant use for free)

  • Hi Krex, really sorry you feel this way. As this is my pet project, I’m developing it in my free time. A small payment (of 3 EUR per year) is never going to pay for the time I invest in it, but rather show your appreciation. It’s not really true that you cannot use the free version, it just has some limits (like 10 contacts max and no categories).
I love this App: it helps me keep track of the people I care about. However it’s a bit tedious to use as I have to confirm and manually keep track of it. Even when a friend messages me on WhatsApp and the App DOES detect the message, I have to tap and confirm the contact. It’d also be great if the App suggested contacts to add to the list.

  • Hey Jaime! Thank you very much for you review :) We started the autodetection feature with stability in mind and wanted to avoid false logs. We’re now looking into improving the algorithm and find ways how to automate the whole process. This should be part of one of the releases in near future :)
