Smart Voice Recorder designed for high quality long-time sound recording with skipping relative silence on-the-fly.

For example, you can use it for record night sleep talks (or snoring:)), business meetings, a regular day of your babysitter, how you sing or play the guitar and so on. It’s fantastic!

And you may use it as regular voice recorder with simple and nice user interface. Give it a try! :)

NOTE: This app is not call recorder. May not work properly on some handsets. User interface not optimized for tablets yet. Recordings in this format cannot be sent via text/sms/mms. Please feel free to send me feedback via email if you have any.

internet access (for displaying ads and some stats collection)
write to external storage (to store recordings)
record audio

Great App Very useful. I particularly liked the background recording option. Even if you remove from the recent apps list accidentally or purposely it still records until you stop it manually. This might seem odd for some people but it is helpful when someone you don’t want to find about it tries to see your phone. Of course you have to first disable the “show notification” option in the app’s settings. Other than that it also gives good quality audio out put.

I usually have a million things to do and a zillion ideas. I have been writing them down but sometimes I lose the paper. My husband recommended that I get a tape recorder. Instead, I searched for an app. With such great ratings and 10m downloads I felt sure it would work for me. I am a researcher and a writer so being able to capture my thoughts, in real time, is essential. To have them stored in one place is heaven. Didn’t give it 5 stars because once you record you can’t edit.

Thank you for this I was lucky to come across this app and it works better than I expected. It saves everything in “wav” format (windows audio) so I can save it on my computer. If u rename ur files and don’t go with the default name given, its easier to locate later. Also, if the file is more than 25mb, be sure to send it to ur google drive to pull from another device later. Thanks again.
