One word: Outstanding. The graphics is perfect for a retro inspired action platformer, controls are fluid and responsive…level design is great, and most importantly, this is a complete free game with NO Pay to Win element…only two minor suggestions 1) option for 60fps 2) Re-size feature of the control layout…other than that, the game is absolutely brilliant…

Tight controls on screen as well as with a controller. Great graphics especially the art style. Super colours, great locations and well designed leves that test your reflexes and timing. Hidden rooms and upgrade cards make this game even better. I love the music and the narration is funny. Super challenging especially the boss fights, but not in annoying way. There’s nothing I don’t like about this game. The ad free version is a steal for the £0.60 I paid for it. More like this please!

Hi there devs. I can say after a long time I finally found a good game. The levels are well designed and you can feel the difficulty increasing with every level. It’s perfect game who loves to play adventure games. I see many complaining about the enemies AI but I don’t think there is need for any changes. Though you can improve the controls. The character’s speech makes the game more enjoyable. Thanks devs, completed the game.

I’ve gone through the first act and so far I’ve been enjoying the game. The controls are basic and easy to use, I saw some other reviews saying they were glitchy but I haven’t had any problems. The gameplay is smooth & overall an easy game. I would like if their was checkpoints, after you die you have to start the level all over again, so with checkpoints it would make it less stressful but then again, the game is still do-able without them. This game is one that I would recommend.

It’s a great game with many challenges and ways to beat it, although I would’ve loved some kind of checkpoint for the levels, even if it was hidden like the treasure chests and people. And I think that maybe at some point in the game you could gain an extra heart, so that instead of having three hearts you get four, then five and so on. Maybe for the bosses like Beethor you could gain an extra heart for each. All in all its a very challenging but well-made game.

Finished it! With nearly perfect score! Really great game. Although, sometime there’s level which make me feel really frustrated, but hey, that’s the charm. And the control was already okay i think. Great job for the dev! Serious question here, do you have intention to make the sequel or atleast add more act. Like, 2 or 3 more act? Another story maybe? I’d really love to play it. :)

Simple action/platforming fun. It starts off easy, but gets difficult fast. And not that “grind currency until you can pay to win” hard, your ability to beat this game is entirely based on your own skill. Cannot recommend enough for anyone who likes fun action platformers with great pixel graphic. This has the quality of a premium game, and I can’t believe it’s free.

I only have one problem with this game. Seriously it’s a great great game. But please can u just add a bit more possible upgrades. I will be happy to pay for them. I have already upgraded to the max. And still there is more content. give me a more !!!!!!! Like maybe an even longer sword of a multi shot magic or who knows, give me another reason to keep playing

If you turn off mobile data then this is one of the best side scrolling game out there. The Levels are well designed. Enemies are challenging sometimes. Nothinh feels repetitive at all. My only problem is less abilities. All we have is a projectile fireball. If you ever make Sequel of some sort. Add some Skill tree type thing. It doesn’t has to be Pc Level. Just keep it simple as this one.

Absolutely Awesome!!! I just love this game! From the art style, to the music and sound effects, to the gameplay. I can’t believe that this game is free. I can’t remember the last time I played a game this great. I’m totally hooked!

Flawless!! Giving it a Full on 5 Star after just playing for 10 mins :) I had been looking for a good Platformer game that will get me hooked instantly and Sword of Xolan did the job. Great Game I never write reviews, but this game is exceptional. I paid for the ad free version just so I could give the developer some money. Responsive controls, the character moves with the proper momentum, the art style is awesome, and the music is delightful. Well done.
