It’s sink or swim time for this app. Using Google translate app, all I have to do is scan the article, and the app translates the article into whatever language I want instantly as in scanning the page. None of this take a picture first and then wait for the translation outdated method, which Ihis app many time can only recongnize some of the article that is been translating. You said that the translation is done by a third party, so you have no control over the quality of the result. Isn’t that the whole purpose of this app? You have no control over the most important part of this app? Which is to translate, and BTW, it does a poor job of translating Chinese into English when comparing to Google tanslation app.

From the first try of this app, I can say that it does a Very Good Job, in comparison to other Good applications on the OCR conversion. I like its UNIQUE feature of choosing up to 3 languages to OCR on the same body of text. Because usually most of my conversions have both Languages Greek and English. The body text is in Greek and it might includes many English/Latin words in it. Such as emails, urls, nicknames, brand names, etc… I gave 4 stars because I haven’t fully tested it yet or if it works offline, and the other Very important reason for me, is because you can not find this application listed amongst the other “Shareable” apps. When I take a screenshot on my screen with my Galaxy S6 phone, I would like to able to open/Share that screenshot with the ABBY’s Application to open and do the OCR. Add this feature and I might give all the 5 stars. I have add this app to my top favourites OCR apps.
