The Great Patriotic War is a turn-based, offline, operational strategy WW2 wargame that puts you in command of the URSS forces as they try to push their way towards the Tide of war.

From Moscow to Berlin, fight your way through many epic battles – Aim your targets carefully, counter-attack and Strategically coordinate your Squads. The study of enemy tactics and the use of Special abilities will lead to victory!

its a great game but i have a lot of issues with it freezing, not loading properly, and glitches in game play wich makes it impossible to finish the level be good to get those issues fixed sometime

You can tell a lot of love and care went into this game, this isn’t the typical garbage microtransaction filled google play store stuff. I havent played unity of command or panzer general so I cant compare this to similar (but not mobile) games in the genre but it is very fun. The buttery smooth zoom mechanism is also super useful for mobile! Unfortunately I have to knock it a little since it is too easy to close the app mid mission and lose a bunch of progress if you forget to save.

It is good to see a premium strategy game on the Eastern Front, but the stats of units need serious overhauls. In the first battle I encountered a German unit call “67th Armoured”, which should be representing the German armoured troops armed with Panzer III or IV, but it had a 15 anti-tank and 12 anti-infantry, totally overwhelming my T-34s. This is problematic if not absurd.

I love this game I been searching for a historical war fame that’s not pay to play. But let’s get to the parts that suck I don’t know how to save my games plus the game freezes up at time and that level has to be started over

I love the addition of old Soviet patriotic war songs. I was pleased to hear some of my favorites. Besides that gameplay is simple yet fun.
