The Great Tournament user reviews :

When I downloaded this game, I was not too bothered if at all with the text only game genre. This is now by far my favourite mobile game ever made.Beaten it many times and absolutely no ads. Sadly the sequel is not even in the same league. Not because it’s paid, I gladly paid (which I never do first time buying anything on play store but it’s just that good) but it just felt like a quick cash grab and when it ended I thought to myself “that’s it?” However the first game is amazing.

It was very fun and I love this game very much, I hope everyone will give this game a try! I’m bad with words, this game is addictive and makes you feel like your really there. I love the story and I made connections to the characters. Like when (someone) dies in literally got upset. Very emerging and all in all an AMAZING GAME!

I usually never read but something just sparked when I first saw this game. From the start I was in love, yes there’s a few spelling mistakes here and there but I rarely noticed them. I was fully engaged with the story all the way through, spending a long time on every decision, I would stay up until early hours of the morning because I just didn’t want to stop. I’m so glad I found this game and would play it a thousand times over. I thank the author for creating something truly wonderful.

This is a thoroughly captivating story with decisions that make you feel great impact. The strongest part however, is the characters, I genuinely cared about almost all of them, especially Sir Robert and Princess Hannah. It is the characters and the flow of your decisions from this one into the second game that really made the sequel good, not great, while otherwise it would be barely adequate at best if it were to stand on its own legs.

This was the best text based game I have ever played. Loved the story. It was so engaging that I just could not stop playing till I reached the end. I could not save my progress as I did not have internet but I don’t mind playing it again and maybe doing a few things differently to see how it may effect the story. Loved the game…..

Wow. Very little typos, great storyline, just the right amount of story and choices. I played it through and reached the end, winning the ultimate tournament and my boon was to be king. The game is just so, i don’t even know how to say it. It was heartbreaking at some points, legitimately exciting at others, and difficult and strategic. one hundred and sixty four thousand out of ten.

This game is in my opinion a revolutionary step in text adventure games. Because the game is free i was able to play it, though i wish i had gotten it sooner. The game is thrilling, makes characters symphatetic and will make you feel like you’re in the universe. The feeling you get when you win, and when you are granted your wish is excelent, and it feels very rewarding. Because there is a second game, you can apply some of your skills into it, and i suggest you play it after you finish this.
