After the last patch the game is barely functional. At launch 8 out of 10 times I get “Server connection cannot be established” error and in the 2 times the game loads i get an “Waiting for server response” message. Sadly the game is currently unplayable. Update: The login issue has been fixed but now a new bug has emerged. After doing more than a couple of fights in a row the game starts lagging during fights.

Have been playing the game on and off today, and it’s quite fun. The graphics, music, and the layout/design are really nice! And cutscenes can be skipped easily as well (tap and hold). Only negative so far is the circle’s diameter, and being able to only fight creatures inside the circle. With Pokémon Go you’re able to tap on any spawn on the screen, I thought it would be the same with Monster Slayer. I would suggest adding that feature till the end of the pandemic, maybe? All in all, 4/5!

I like the game so far. But I do have some issues. Sometimes, the quest area will be in a private property (large industrial zones, government buildings etc) and I have to go very far to be able to relocate. And the parry mechanic is very inconsistent. If you’re doing fast attacks, even if you press and hold, it will block only after all the fast attacks finish. And you can’t block during the critical window, but the enemy can still attack you while you’re trying to time your critical hit.

I like it so far. This game offers engaging gameplay where one needs to actually learn to play. I wish the map wasn’t plain fields though, I wish it had more variety to it. It’s obvious that the game knows where buildings are — why not put trees or huts or cliffs there? Just a suggestion. But overall, it’s fun. BUT this game DESPERATELY needs more customization. There’s like 4 male and 4 female skins! Every one of my friends looks exactly the same. Like me. Also, I didn’t find an option to change language in setting. My phone’s language is EN and I would like to play in PL.

kinda bland, you really gotta move quite a distance to get to the objectives. Leveling up doesn’t make much sense, getting weapons doesn’t make much sense as well. It does have good graphics, but other than that I really don’t understand why I would invite or introduce this game to friends. Pokemon Go really nailed it, when monsters pop up in this you either (most likely) can’t kill them, or they don’t pop up at all. The monsters are consistent, the ones you can’t kill are them.

1. Interact distance is tiny. Should be 2-3x larger. 2. While a GPS game, it’s completely unplayable if you aren’t driving around. Also it rewards you for driving due to how spread out everything is. This is dangerous and while getting out and about should have benefits, it shouldn’t be 99% of the game. It’d be nice to be able to play at home even limited. 3. Bag space. We need some other way to store ingredients. Or no limit. Bag space should be 10x larger. I fill up in 20 mins.

Overall the game is fun but it has a few downsides, the one that could be easily fixed is when you are about to perform charged blow you cannot parry attacks which is super annoying. The other one is poor connection system, that kicks you from the game whenever you supposedly loose connection. I think that could be fixed with some caching, since it doesn’t make sense to kick off the player that is in the middle of the fight. Anyway, the game is good, but quickly gets boring
