Toon Shooters 2 : Sequel to the hit game ‘Toon Shooters: Rise of the Fleet’ featured in the US & Canada.

Five years after the fall of the Fleet, the Toons are back in action to wreck threats old and new… it was a massacre, on both sides!

Toon Shooters 2 is an arcade side-scrolling shooter ‘shmup’ inspired by the golden era of Gradius/R-Type and more… Co-Op play available (Lifeforce/Salamander), different characters with various roles and abilities.

THE GAME

The first campaign launches with 10 stages of various puzzles and ridiculous bosses.

Up to 4 Co-Operative multiplayer available with roles for each player (diagonal shots, healers, bombers…)

6 playable characters: Otis, Ben, Angelica, Big Ted, Yolo Creed & Paul

7 custom-fit pets (Laser Pup, Laser Dog, Bomber Orange, Homing Missiles, Regenerist, Spinner, Wingman & Mon Furious Rapid Shot)

A lot of you have been asking us to get Toon Shooters onto the android stores and while we couldn’t quite port the first game… we’ve gone a step further and made this gem of a sequel which we feel, is a much better experience – and it has multiplayer & co-op team play.

The game has content patches under planning and you should keep an eye on the app even after you’ve played through the initial game for new challenges.

With inspiration from games like 1942, 1943, Gradius, Area88, Salamander/Lifeforce, Contra, R-Type and more… we hope to create a refreshing game world in ‘Toon Shooters’ for many years to come.

We’re a small group of four indie game makers who are quite frankly, chasing a dream… a dream to make a living creating games we love to play and share with others.

We grew pretty much across the world and were heavily influenced by Japanese and American games in the 80s & early 90s. Our games are an expression of who we are and we hope to share a little bit of that with you.

Silly, simple, easy to learn and play – but hard to master…. I like the developer – their games are, perhaps, generally a little sloppy – but this is by far their most polished…. Wish the game servers were a little more reliable/consistent…. I would really love a TS3 – with a few more customization options… Really, a great game. Fun to play, a great classic style – just wish there were a little more to it

Game’s nice but if i may suggest, it would be great if we can have a private multi game and fix some bugs as the game sometimes crash. Hope you take this into consideration.

A fun and enjoyable game. Controls very well, good graphics and sounds. No forced ads. I played through all 15 stages. Harder difficulty after you beat the game, which adds to the replay value. There’s also lots of characters/ships to unlock via ingame coins. The developers did a great job on this game.
