OpenTopoMap is a free, topographic map generated from the data in the OpenStreetMap and SRTM elevation data.

This service provides excellent topographic coverage of most of the globe, however there may be areas and zoom levels with no topographic information.

Nice app, easy to use and no unwanted clutter. I like the way the offline snapshot works. What I am missing is an option to see the source or date of the satellite images are taken. For some areas the satellite map is quite old and it is usefull to know from when exactly. Alternatively maybe allow the use of more map layers. I was also wondering if it is possible to just mark a point exactly at your current location instead of manually pressing at the location to add a marker.

I can’t use Google’s due to download / storage restrictions. Really like your idea about easily dropping a pin at your exact location, I’ll add it in the next release. Kind regards

Amazing! Totally light, hassle-free and a minimalistic option if you only want to use just a small/specific part of the topo map offline (unique snapshot feature). However, once I imported my .gpx files, why I couldn’t see the track lines like in other gpx reader app? I can only see the waypoints without the actual track line that connect each waypoints. I hope this feature will become available in the future!

This is Good assists to me,, especially Topo Map, nearly corrected and Terrain as well. Maybe Better if you can show water flows , streams to rivers obviously.

This app is my new favorite tool for back country route planning!! (Developers, please add a feature to download a block of all layers/zoom for a selected area).
