Alphabear 2 – Use letters that are adjacent to each other

[Game] Alphabear 2 – English word puzzle

Alphabear 2 is an English word puzzle game for people of all ages, and is the sequel to Google Play’s 2016 first-ever “Standout Indie” award winner!

In Alphabear 2, you spell English words by selecting letters on a puzzle grid. When you use letters that are adjacent to each other, bears appear! The more letters you use, the bigger the bear gets, and the more points you earn. Spelling words cleverly is the key to success!

Collect Bears:

When you solve the puzzles, you’ll earn new bears for your permanent collection. These bears can team up to help you in future games! They increase the points you earn, extend your timer, modify the game board, and more.

Bear humor:

Fans of the original Alphabear will appreciate the much-improved “bear speech” — the words you spell will appear in funny cartoons like always, but the all-new templates come with a huge variety of backgrounds and amusing props.

Built-in dictionary:

Lastly, a smart dictionary and other new features make Alphabear 2 a great way to improve your English and have fun while doing it!

So what are you waiting for? The best word puzzle game of 2018 awaits!

Alphabear 2 user reviews :

There’s a lot to love. This game retains much of what made the first version so charming, but the story mode gives a more streamlined experience and provides a good method of introducing players to the various modes and mechanics of play. New bears, new customization options, an adorable use of social media sharing, and best of all, an option to get rid of ads, though remaining playing with watching ads for extra perks isn’t a bad experience at all. I’ve only encountered one problem so far, which had something to do with ads flashing repeatedly after they’ve played. Happened three times the day before but hasn’t happened again since, so I’m not sure if it’s a fluke or not.

I just started Ch. 3 and I’m enjoying the game a lot. It has everything I love from the first game: spelling, goofy humor and adorable bears. Although the game gives you 150 extra honey for watching 3 videos per day, it doesn’t feel like enough because there are daily challenges, bear school and the story mode to manage. Wish there was more energy available per day!

I played the first Alphabear and didn’t think it needed a storyline. After a while, it became hard to complete the chapters. This version brings an whimsical storyline that I didn’t know the first game needed, a lot of cute new bears, and interesting game mechanics. I’m still in the first few chapters but I’m enjoying it a lot so far! If I had one suggestion for improvement, I think the letters are harder to see than in the first game.

I love this game. It’s got the same core mechanics as the 1st one, but everything around it is smoother, and it has a wonderfully silly story to guide you through levels. Apparently in this version you can’t buy the full game to get rid of the daily “energy” limit, which honestly is probably a good thing, because I can see myself playing this non-stop forever.

  • Thanks Aviv! Yes, we removed the infinite energy because some fans of the original complained that it encouraged them to play unhealthy amounts. Since we know that people want to feel like they can “buy the full game”, we changed it to an option that permanently disables all advertisements, which gives you free benefits in several modes.
