Amazon Relay user reviews :
Glitchy. Lots of times dont get updates that my door is ready. Don’t usually get assigned a trailer drop pad and a tractor waiting pad in app. Should be able to request a paper bol upon check in to even be left in the trailer with the seal. Save time instead of the app whining about leaving asap to avoid congestion. Navigation isn’t exactly the smartest either but it does help to find facilities the first time there. Sucks the life out of your battery though tracking you the whole time.
Random basis won’t open navigation, stuck with an error message. Persists through restarts/updates. Log out/restart/in helps. Will need a commercial grade GPS no matter what. (Relay for truckers.) P.p. with updates it improves on some issues, and creates others. Today i had the the rest of my assigned schedule erase itself in the middle of a load transport, got shorted the $ for the load. Their entire database(ROC/Amazon yard app) doesn’t show anything. Lucky i have BOL as proof. Save your BOLs
the app is ok most of the time. but issues with GPS Nav and geofence proximity check in qre stqrting to be more of a issue lately. Amazon also has report delays options but not for “Traffic Delay”. that would account for 70% of most transit delays.
Could just be me, but when trying to access Notifications, Trips, and Performance, just to name a few, the screen flickers on a black screen.
The navigation part of the app sucks and takes to long for update by ROC. Navigation doesn’t tell you North,South, East or West when taking exits. And that would be very helpful. Also doesn’t know when roads are closed for construction for days or months.
The first thing is having to take a photo of yourself every other week for “verification”. It is a crock and a waste of time. Secondly the route your given is not always the most efficient route to get to destination.
New update trash (June-July 2024) can arrive early to 3P location knowing your 3P pin point on gps 85% inacurate… have to waitbfor 30mins before start to be able to proceed in the app… if u there early have to walk to the gps location wich is always not in the truck entrance. Made me not want to deal with that anymore. Most 3P location is 98% ready. Unless is live load that u can check in out 24hrs.. good luck with other wanting to haul 44,45k lbs with all this restrictions!
there’s definitely flaws in the system that could be asked or reviewed with contractors and or drivers for Amazon. overall it’s a pretty well programmed application that makes it easy for jobs to get done. timing in my opinion is an issue of a multitude of things between rushing and unrealistic expectations. especially when giving a review about a delay and etc.
It’s ok, the issues it has is someone the route it takes you goes through residential areas as a truck driver we are not allowed to go through there. The app needs a major overhaul meaning it’s needs to be redone cause there are tons of glitches that need to be fixed. Speed is way off, when your going 55 mph it reads 107 mph, check ins and outs don’t always show up, if you are showing you are arriving more that 30 mins it updates and your not able to get fuel if needed.
This was a pretty simple app at one point, even though navigation always had some type of issue. It’s much more complicated now making it more difficult to use. Although some issues have been improved, other things that weren’t issues before have now become issues. It seems that with the “improvement” it’s gotten worse. Navigation is absolutely useless now.
