Make sure your Bluetooth is on but connect to your ANOVA using the app instead of Bluetooth settings. Connection’s a little weak if you move more than 4 feet away. The tips/tricks/recipes are slow to load. Otherwise it’s all amazing app! What a great way to set, time and measure temperature and time. There are hundreds of thousands of recipes.

The ANOVA Sous vide itself is wonderful. However, the app is not reliable at all. When it works, it’s very straightforward and well designed, but it almost never works effectively. The only recommendation to address these issues has been to try reinstalling the app or pairing my device again. The app loses connectivity with my sous vide frequently and is constantly coming up with errors. The app has made me look into competing brands in several occasions. FIX YOUR APP PLEASE!

Great app, works well, never have connection issues. Only complaint is that I wish there were more recipes. tends to be several of basically the same thing. Would also be nice to have some charts showing things like meat, egg, chicken doneness at different times/temps so you could quickly/easily decide how done you want it.

Amazing device that performs perfectly as required. The tank is nice and big the only thing you have to buy is a wire rack to hold packages of meat down with. Wifi App works decent. Nice list of user shared recipes. Only reason it doesnt get 5 stars is because I have to be near it in my house to remote start it with the app. Wish I could do it from the store to get it hot by the time I get home.

App worse than 2 years ago! WiFi connectivity is unreliable and constantly get Something went wrong, try again message. Have reinstalled app, rebooted wifi router twice. Blutooth connects quickly, wifi takes minutes. Changing temp or cook time from cell gets Try Again message. Shutting down app and restarting seems to re-establish connection. When I first used Anova Blutooth and WiFi with iriginal app all worked reliably… but not anymore. Pls fix.

The Android version of this app is bad. I was able to get the wifi to work on Android by using my iPhone as a workaround. First, I had to use my iPhone to download the app and connect the device with that app. It connected instantly using the iPhone app. Make sure your iPhone is connected to 2.4ghz wifi. Secondly, I downloaded the app using my Pixel6 (Android). After logging into the app, everything was already configured for me. I hope this helps someone.

Love my Anova and the sous vide process. Highly recommend for perfectly cooked foods with more time flexibility, and an added bonus is it doesn’t heat up the kitchen during the summer months.

From time to time, the app becomes unresponsive. Usually, I simply restart the app. Today, I had to unplug unit and restart app to get it to work. This has happened ever since I purchased. I must say, that when it works, it works great.
