Show notifications from any app in your DashClock Widget with AnyDash
AnyDash requires DashClock Widget by Romain Nurik here:
This is a work in progress so if you have any issues please click the ‘Email Developer’ button above and let me know. Not every app will work with this so if you find one which doesn’t show notifications EMAIL ME and I’ll do my best to make it compatible. Don’t leave a comment saying it does work with X please email me as some apps (like Google Voice) will work for some and not others.
If you want an icon added EMAIL ME and let me know and I’ll be happy to add it.
And as always any suggestions for features are welcome :-)
PS: Multiple widgets (Up to 3) can be added using AnyDash Pro
AnyDash clears its widget when the screen is unlocked. It’s not possible to check when you have cleared the notifications and update it so it will always clear on unlock.
AnyDash user reviews :
Crashes too much for me right now, but will reinstall when is gets to closer to a 1.0 release!
Fantastic integration. This widget can only access information that your apps allow. I found the dev very helpful but some things are beyond the scope of current APIs.
Like others I have a gnex with 4.2.2 and if I granted the app with accessibility permission it also activate the annoying talk back function
Looks good so far! There was a problem with enabling accessibility mode (could be specific to CM). When the app directed me there, I couldn’t enable/disable accessibility mode, but when I navigated in through settings myself it worked fine. Not sure what happened there. Multiple instances would be great! Probably a limitation of DashClock and not your extension, but it would still be a really nice feature.
