Be My Eyes user reviews :
Just had my third call on Be My Eyes I’ve been on the app for years and every now and then my phone will ring. I can choose to decline and the app calls multiple people so sometimes you answer and it’s already been answered. Today I helped a gentleman figure out whether his frying pan was dishwasher safe. In the past I’ve clarified clothing colours and read someone’s meter. It’s a really lovely moment getting to chat with someone and help them and I always come away feeling positive.
Volunteering after seeing the Netflix movie called Be My Eyes. I didn’t know that this was a thing but I think it’s a great practical way to help our differently abled counterparts. It’s a beautiful thing. I love that there’s so many volunteers. No one is ever out of reach that needs assistance.
If you are reading this, it’s because you can enjoy your eyes. Can you imagine not to be able of doing so? Please, get the app and offer the possibility to somebody how can need your help. You can also feel better after that. It’s a nice way of starting a favor chain and make the world a less bad place
I’d give a 5,as I think it’s a great idea (I work for a charity that helps VI people), but this morning I was woken up by a call.. It’d be nice to have a setting to say when you are sleeping or busy & not able to help
I love this app, but I wish there was a way to set times when we can receive calls, so we aren’t receiving them during the night or during hours which we are consistently busy.
