Bikemap user reviews :
I’ve used it only once to navigate on a an existing course. It seems ok. But after I ended the navigation my Garmin Fenix 3 went totally crazy continuously telling me to end navigation and refusing to take other commands. The only temporary cure was turning off the phone’s Bluetooth, but this obviously wasn’t a solution. In the end I had to uninstall the app. I have installed the app about a month ago, so I suppose it was the current version
- Hi Radu, we are very sorry to hear. Please let us know which version you used so we can fix any potential technical issues on our side. Thank you for your help to improve Bikemap! Best regards from Vienna & Happy Cycling
It has potential, but atm it’s very annoying. – If i go slightly off route (ex: for the view) and rejoin slightly further away it keep saying I’m off route and that i must turn @ for the check point; – had to restart the route to nearest point because of the above, and i must go through multiple dialogues: i do Not want to rate/save/upload my journey, i just want to end tracking in one click; – how do i set a route direction backwards? – sometimes it just closes. With some fixes might be good.
- Hi there, thank you for your detailed feedback. We are currently working on improved re-routing. New updates, bugfixes and features are available for you in the Google Play store on a regular basis. Stay tuned for the next release! Happy Cycling Your Bikemap team
Nice as router tool. The online route planner is not intuitive but a also a good tool when you’ve finally understood as it works. The biggest downturn for me: a saved route is public by default. And when you’ve understood that and like to change the status of all your saved routes this is a hell of work. You’ll have to open each route then you have to open edit mode and there you can change the status. There is no batch operation for this. For me a show stopper.
- Hi blck 77, thank you for providing valuable feedback. Bikemap is a global cycling community for sharing routes with fellow cyclists. We’ll consider your points regarding UI improvements of the web route planner and default route privacy for further product improvement. Thank you & Happy Cycling!
