I remember this game from the time it was first posted on Armor Games. I beat it with every hero, with every power both on PC as a child and now on mobile. The secret is to always get the power to level 3 then level up from there. Easiest win is with Achiless using the fire power. Also, with the controls, if the enemies are closer swipe in front of you, if they are further swipe behind and it will hit better.Carefull not to shoot behind you!
It’s a simple game if you want to pass the time. However, you can easily get soft locked if you choose the wrong upgrades making it impossible to kill every enemy before they destroy the temple, which is very infuriating. The amount of ads are aggravating. Every single time after a level or if you die you get a 30 second unskippable ad. I tried using airplane mode, and somehow still got an ad, which should be impossible. Pick it up if you can handle inescapable ads, and hard levels.
Overall it’s a nice game. Wish it could have been much longer. Or better yet make a free mode where you can come back to the previous levels with all your skill upgrades so you can complete all the levels in perfect. Or also you can make a mode with endless enemies. One problem is that the app stops at the loading screen once you’re done with a hero. Also hope you can add more heroes.
concept of the game is really good, and I’ve come back to try and play again every couple years or so. but the lack of a guided arrow line for your shots makes this game completely frustrating and unplayable in the later rounds. i like the ironhide games overall but this one missed the mark. all they need to do is make this small update and it could be really fun to play
This is what you’d hope for from a free mobile game. The ads are minimal. There’s a learning curve. You upgrade your stats. There’s a progression of difficulty. It’s not too easy, and not too hard. You have a few characters to choose from each with a different trade off. You can go through the levels again and try out a new character and it’s still fun. It’s not hopelessly endless, but it’s not too short. You can play again and try different things and try to do better and it’s still fun.
Enjoyable defense style game. It starts out easy but gets hard pretty quick. You have to be selective with which upgrades you pick or else you simply can’t beat a level. Sometime you must push through and store gold to get the right ones.
Played it for 15 minutes and i’m already at stage 11, with the ”weak damage” hero (bow). Not sure how some people say they are stuck at lvl 7. Edit: after couple hours finished the game… last boss after a couple tries, you just have to hit the critical spots a few times in a row and it’s over.
Great game. Requires a little skill, or just practice. 3 characters to play as and each has two sub-class things. Even if you just want to play the campaign once it’s a quick thing. And only one banner ad in the main menu. Worth my time fully.
I found that I could beat the game with each hero in about an hour, so overall I ended up playing this for about 6 hours, since there are 3 heroes and 2 different special abilities for each hero. The controls take a while to get used to, but once you get over the learning curve, I think this game is really fun. I still prefer the game mechanics of Kingdom Rush over this one, but I enjoyed playing this game too.
