There are 17 levels of play (15k-2d) for all the board sizes. Crazy Stone has improved not only in strength, but also in his style of play and the lower levels are perfect for players who want to learn the game of Go.

IAGA Rating Certification Test
Challenge the Dan/Kyu tests provided by the International AI Go Association. You will be awarded certificate images if you pass the tests.
(You will need to register an AI Game Account to challenge the tests. Registration is free)

Export and import sgf game files
You will be able to import and export game records in sgf format from other apps. Also you can copy game record data to the clipboard.

Pretty good all in all. But it has these weird Sudoku adverts sometimes that are like a puzzle to find how to close. I hate manipulative advertising and this is particularly obnoxious. Edit: it’s got better again… cautiously increasing to 3 stars. (Without bad ads the game merits 4 or 5 stars)

It’s a really solid app, the main complaint I have is that on my OnePlus 7 Pro, there’s a lot of black space at the top, so the app doesn’t take up all the screen space vertically. That’s a bit annoying, but besides for that really nice job!

There should be a mid-game win rule. I have won more than 70 points, and your 2d program is still not giving up. It is too time consuming to be entangled in the end.

Unbelievable such a good app for free! One is really tempted to step up to the non-free one!

There are apps with ads and then there are ads with apps, and this is close to the latter. When you do play, whilst it’s quite good the computer doesn’t finish the game when it’s clearly at an end, but persists and drags it out.

I’m new to playing go, and downloaded one other app before this one so my five-star recommendation is not based on a large amount of experience, but this game interface is simple and clean, and I’m enjoying using the hint feature to help me learn.

Playing 9×9 the AI is more like a puzzle. Once I figure out the right moves I can play the same moves and the AI will respond in the same way. However, the harder the AI the more variations, but still possible to predict its moves. The paid for version fixes this. I would like to see when editing the game for it to just add a variation to the board or at least rewrite the sgf. Right now if I edit the board, when replaying the game it only goes back to place I started editing. Thanks.
