Great app for staying organized. Switching between the app and the online web version on the computer is a seamless experience. It is a simple yet versatile note taking app that I use daily for work, school, and shopping.

Pretty good. Makes me log in each time I open the app though. Odd, and not a little frustrating.

The best outliner, the scifi theme is the best!

[Edit: For such a simple app, it’s weirdly buggy on my OnePlus and my Sony phones, for a long time] I have 350 apps on my phone (after a cull) and Workflowwy was in my Top 5. That is, until I discovered Dynalist. Take my money.

Extremely versatile, very generous free version, one of the best note taking or outline apps I’ve ever tried. Now using it to DM a DnD game. Love it.

Perfect outliner. And, with links! Very nice.

It doesnt have the option to resend confirmation email when signing up. But if u manage to login (which, u hv to, cant go as guest), it work pretty ok, similar to workflowy. In app and mobile web, no export feature available. Im also not use how to use external hyperlink in this app (if I want to link website, but dont wanna show url cz its too long). Personally, I like the dark gold theme. I read it has the web and windows version of this app, hvnt tried it. Update dec 20: quite good

It’s great except for one thing. We need an export facility (possibly in markdown format) from the app. Currently web app supports export. Though there’s no way to copy a data from mobile app to any other place. And it is extremely needed, like without it the mobile app is not useful at all.

Amazing tool! I am hooked on since day 1 of trying it out. Just one suggestion though: please keep theme selection device-independent. i.e: I should be able to choose dark theme on my mobile and bright one on my system. Other than that.. pretty much everything is perfect!

Love the app, probably the best outliner available. Free tier has almost all the features I need, but I would gladly support if the pro tier was less expensive.

5 stars except keyboard stopped appearing, so can’t make any new notes. Before that, app was basically as good as it gets! I love how it allows me to mind map my ideas. Only thing that could make it better is if you could make your lists 3D, with some items being bullet points to multiple other things. To do that right now, you have to copy/paste the item, and then it’s not clear that they’re duplicates. But I don’t know how you’d pull that off, and I don’t NEED it, and I rarely think about it.

It’s really a great app for creating lists for personal as well as professional purposes. It works fine, but not for big data. I have a long list of my data, and Dynalist cannot hold its burdon. It has got too much slow and has lost its flexibility. It slows down when scrolling, jumping among lists or entering data. Please make it more comfortable for large amount of data. By the way, 5 star for its features.

This is a great app, and is exactly what I need to organize my lifestyle. However, one major flaw is that the app (on all platforms) takes a few seconds to sync after you edit a list. So, if you quickly add something then exit the app, that edit won’t get synced and you won’t see it on your other devices. I have submitted bug reports and feature requests to the developer several times over the last few years regarding this issue, but they are ignored every time.

Lacks most important features that would enable the phone to be task collector, luckily there is Quick Dynalist to fill that. Other pet peeves include: when using dark theme, the light theme flashes first, which is unpleasant at night; no home screen widget; color choice displays with delay and responds to clicks with cancelling action, it took me a while to understand that I have to wait for the keyboard to hide until it works; action menu displays with delay; the shortcuts are great for desktop, but mobile phones need buttons, Anyway, it’s the best outliner out there, so keep the good work!

Extremely pleased with appearance and functionality even starting on the free plan. Minor annoyance is the constant popping up of the keyboard when expanding or folding items (by clicking on the + or – signs), which is not needed because those are navigation actions. In that regard Workflowy has a better behavior. But overall Dynalist is a superior app for completeness of features while keeping a slick minimalistic look.
