So far I’m impressed. I normally don’t engage in many games, I stick to my select few, but saw this on an ad on YouTube, and between the digital art (which I’ve saved some for tattoo ideas) and the challenge it brings with so many variations and combinations you can make with the cards, that if you like a challenge, this is a game for you. Just when you think you have it figured out, someone cleans your clock and it’s back to the drawing board. Genuine post from a happy player!
It’s not a bad game. Art is good and the engine is as well. My biggest problem was the matching. After the initial 5 matches, I was always put up against vastly superior decks. It would take many weeks of getting destroyed to acquire the resources to build a competitive deck. I don’t find getting destroyed for weeks to fun. To sum up, it’s a decent game, but expect lots of frustration and losses from the ptp players.
So far, so good, only 1 or two OP cards I found thus far. The mechanics of the game are clean and simple to learn. There are no pop-up adds you are forced to watch. The devolper leaves the option to you to watch them or not and limits the amount you can watch within a 24-hour period. Thus far, you don’t have to pay to win. I have made it to 1st place within the league without having to buy a single thing. That why I bought stuff the devs need to eat too. The graphics music atmosphere top notch.

Game is alright. It can be fun but pretty must all you have to do is build a quick variation of the o.p. deck key deck build and its over. The deck becomes unstoppable unless matched by same deck. Black forest/french quarter/germanic. Totally predictable and o.p. at that point and pointless. *** thanks for the response I will check in occasionally in game to see if the decks have been rebalanced. I have no interest in building a zero strategy o.p. deck.

Awesome game, it does seem kinda limited in the number of card options and customization on the deck (especially with so many type-specific cards), but there is much, much more strategy than meets the eye. !!! Also, for heaven’s sake add more quests and missions. Took all even the weekly down in 2 days. Daily takes like 2 matches… come on, Keep us coming back!
- Thanks for the 5 stars and the feedback Jon! Well hopefully as we continue to release new hordes, those options will just keep on growing! Heard you on the quests, we are looking at how they are assigned because we also have people getting very long quests for their dailies which take all week!
Edit 2: bumping my review back down to three stars. I like the game. it’s fun but the main thing that kills it is they deliberately designed the daily and weekly quests to trash your rank. They put specific restrictions on quests like “use a pure synnig deck” or “play no cards for 2 turns” which means you’re forced to use lousy decks and bad strategies that make placing high in reaper rank is nearly impossible unless you completely ignore the daily and weekly quests that force losses onto you.
