ETA Text : ETA App monitors your journey progress and sends a text if you are running late.

ETA Text : To save you taking your hands off the wheel when driving, the ETA App monitors your car journey progress and automatically sends a text to a phone number of your choice if you are running late (or early) by a specified amount.

The app will also (optionally) send a text when you set off.

If you prefer, you can turn off the auto-text feature and just send an update text whenever you like, at the touch of a single button. (The app will keep the screen on for you so don’t have to unlock).

And when you reach your destination the app will automatically stop.

The destination address and phone number can be entered manually or selected from your contacts, and will be remembered for next time in case you make the same journey regularly.

The sent texts are fully configurable. They include your Estimated Time of Arrival and, optionally, your current location, plus any text you like.

I love this app. I am a satellite technician so this works awesome for updating customers so they dont have to wait around all day. The only reason i rated 4 instead of 5 is the military time on the messages. I couldnt find a setting to switch it.

I normally never ever rate an app. I stumbled across this one looking for something similar, tried it, and fell in love with it! Very very accurate and not a memory or battery hog not to mention very simple to use. Works fine using course location for longer trips and GPS for shorter trips. I travel 15,000 miles a month and I will keep this one!
