This game is pretty phenomenal. It’s got a steep learning curve, if (like me) you don’t bother much with wikis (in point of fact, I still don’t know if there even is one), but the sheer quantity of customization is mind-blowing. Pick a ship you like, deck it out the way you like, configure the controls the way you like (no excuses for whining about them; if you don’t like them, change them), and have a blast!
while there isn’t much to do, the combat is really fun for what you can do with mobile controls and the fact that this is a free game with no ads is awesome. it would be cool if the materials were used for something other than the occasional side quest, like maybe setting up my own colony at a planet.
Great scope, story, and scale… Two stars off for not being able to zoom closer, which makes it superhard to see during space engagement… Also. controls are a bit clunky. But really, it’s the lack of sufficient zoom that ruins it. There is a zoom adjustment but it is not NEARLY enough to make a difference.
Great game, have a had it a few days now. it NEEDS an in-game almanac a good tutorial. I didn’t know what to do for a while, and had to head to tue wiki to get some semblance of game knowledge. some more in-depth descriptions would go a long way
Controls are a bit funky especially when the joystick decides to no longer function and return to its default state. Graphics and art style are great. No tutorial confuses newer players but the discord can help you with that. I still prefer the spin-off, frontier.
If you like star control you have to love this game. The combat is excellent. Thanks for making this available and free.. one of the best things ever in the play store.
Definitely did the important things right. Needs a storyline and other content. Gameplay mechanics and controls are spot on. Great system for leveling, upgrading and customizing.
A fun game, and a great way to sink time. The combat is fun and engaging, and the ships are customisable and reconfigurable.
Very fun open ended Space Fleet Action Rpg. Reminds me of the classic Star Control. I have been playing thisngame since its beta forever ago and it has improved tenfold over the years. The recent updates have brought so much more customization abilities and removes the level cap! Fantastic game with lots of features and hours of fun.
I absolutely love the idea and the base concept of the game. However no matter how far you go, the game is very repetitive. Any time you go to a new star system you have to fight the enemies there, then explore. What if there were faction feuds and you could team up with a faction and war against another? Sort of like bounty hunting. Or you could make trading deals with the minerals you get. Maybe set up a base and mine stuff? I get it if you want this to be a nomatic experience, but it’s stale.
Great game I’ve been playing it since release and I really enjoyed it, I just have one suggestion why don’t you add the pilot function like in Frontier? You could use the same system to make it so we could fight with more ships at once or just have them provide buffs
