Welcome to the world of Figment. A strange and surreal world; a place filled with our deepest thoughts, urges and memories, populated by the many voices we hear in our heads.

This mind has been quiet and calm for many years. But something has changed. New thoughts have started to emerge – taking the shape of nightmarish creatures who spread fear wherever they go. The only hope is for the grumpy Dusty, the mind’s former voice of courage, to get back to his old self and help the mind to face its fears.

Join Dusty and his ever-optimistic friend, Piper, on an adventure through the different sides of the mind, solving puzzles to set things straight, beating back the nightmares and seeking to restore the courage that’s been lost.

Figment user reviews :

The game was awesome, but after I bought the full version, it started glitching. It started saying that I needed to buy the full version even though I already did. When I reopen the game, it keeps on closing in the middle of loading. I wish I had deleted the game earlier so I can get my money back. Such a great game, but has so much to fix.

  • very sorry. If you would like a refund, please follow the refund procedure from within the game.

I’ve just finished the story and loved it all. The design is great, I love the music and I like how the story ended. The puzzles were fun too, the only bit that threw me a bit was the piano house, I hadn’t noticed the little radios about so had no idea what chords to do for a good 10min! My only criticisms would be the control stick not being fixed and it sometimes crashed on boot up (as well as after the ending credits). Otherwise though, amazing game!

  • Hi Brett, thank you so much for playing our game and reviewing! We are glad you liked it and didn’t get too stuck in the game. Sorry about the crashes! I hope wel’ll figure out what the issue was and I’ll pass on the fixed joystick suggestion to the team, thank you!

The artwork is beautiful and the game is a great good effort. The controls and game balance needs some work. Edit, in reply to dev response: Thanks for responding. The difficulties in control may be in the nature of the control itself, the thumb-circle that functions as a kind of joy stick. If the character is facing one way, and I place my thumb on the control and pull in the opposite (or different) direction, the expectation is that the character will spin in place and immediately travel in that direction. However, the character moves forward slightly in the direction it was facing before circling back to the expected direction (e.g if the character is facing “up” and I want to move it “down”). This causes is a subtle delay, but it is enough to be frustrating when it causes a death or being stuck unexpectedly against a wall. If we were to trace the path out, it could be sharp lines as a character suddenly changes direction, but as it is the path would be soft curves and loops. I could see that being an intentional design decision, but it is nevertheless a frustrating one.

  • Hi Rendall, thank you for playing! We are launching a controller update this week, maybe it could be of interest for you to play with a physical controller instead :) Let us know if there is anything else we could do to improve your experience! EDIT: Thank you for the specification, we will keep it in mind!

First thing that pulls you into the game is the visual aesthetics followed by the voice acting. I was really impressed by the attention to detail especially when it came to the dialogues of unseen characters. They all sound so unique. I found the controls positioning a bit problematic when it came to fighting. Since the roll over/ dodge button is located where most games have the attack button. Will need some getting used to. Aside from that, as an exploration game it is really interesting.

  • Hi Akash, thank you for playing and reviewing! We are happy you liked the game. Sorry you feel like this about the controls, we have actually switched two buttons around in the sequel.
