FilterBox user reviews :

Found this thanks to the article by Jules Wang @ Android police, (ht), so I thought I’d try to get a grip on my phone’s pushes. I’ve been procrastinating on trying out a manager like this for awhile now and hopeful this will help. Seems promising so far. The way you setup rules reminds me of a firewall or ad blocking app.

Awesome notification manager, with great design.

A dime in jewel. Was looking for notification manager from so long buy couldn’t find any but i think with this search is over.

One of the best app for notification logs. We can read whole message, copy links from those messages (like whatsapp message). Also we can customise which notifications this app should log. Keep it up dev.

App is trial based and doesn’t even work properly. I tried to set a rule to block a notification of another app, then removed and re-installed it, and the notification wasn’t blocked. Not only that, but for some notifications (example is Gmail) the content seems empty. This is one of the cases where design is nice, but function is lacking. There are free apps out there that work better and without saying it won’t be available in some amount of days. EDIT: developer said I should contact via the app for more information about the crash, so seems he didn’t read what I wrote, because there is no crash. Also, the device information is already shown on the Play Console (Pixel 4 R), so it’s incorrect that this information is needed either. EDIT: Dev said there is no crash dialog. Still irrelevant. The app didn’t crash, and even if it did, for this you can use Crashlytics.

  • Sorry for the inconvenience. Please use in-app feedback to contact me. Otherwise I will not be able to obtain your device information and corresponding crash conditions and this information will help me fix your problems. EDIT: Starting with Android 10 system will not display dialog for background app crash. Sorry again for misunderstanding.
