This video feature is wonderful. Me, my son and daughter love to send messages on Duo. Our favorite thing to do is act like we are news reporters, when we see something going down on the highway or in our neighborhoods.I also keep in touch with my brother who lives over 1500 miles away. I have no complaints. I really love that I can now download my own video also. I save all of the Duo videos we make for a laugh or two later. Thank you so much for Duo. Keep up the good work Google. OK, this app is great! Quality is robust and the UI design feels minimal and even very fun to use. But we need something els, something the app definitely lacks and that would be “group video call”. It is the major missing part of the Duo and if you just put the codes in there for the group thing, i will no longer use other apps such as Skype or WhatsApp or etc. Come on Google, we need that, easy cake for you!

In the last week and a half I am having trouble with reception of video calls, video calls dropping, and long freezes of image. So sad. I tried all the suggestions I found, but none of them has worked.
Well done it’s clean and easy to use. Gets the job done but there’s not much, it needs something to stand out as the best amongst the competition. Why don’t you add some cool features for example live filters for video chat or a screen share mode like the one on skype desktop version. This app should be included as a system app for almost all of the android handsets like Apple does with their FaceTime. I have been looking for Profile settings in this app to stick a profile picture on it but unfortunately there isn’t any way to do that.
Finally Google has released a unicorn have been waiting a long time for this app. The video quality is remarkable compared to Google Hangouts. There are definitely a few things missing would be nice to do a group chat but I understand that it is brand new. Can’t wait for further updates to this application
Very simply an easy to use, clean, clear app. Call quality both video and voice is pleasantly clear and smooth. Just finished a 45min call to my brother halfway around the world and it felt like he was just next door. We’ve used Skype before but was not very impressed that we stopped using it. Duo on the other hand made us make near future plans to confer again.
