Great selection of shows and movies. But forcing users to reset their passwords for no reason is just stupid. I’ve had to change the password on my grandparents account for them twice, and neither times have I reset that password myself, it simply says the password I set before is incorrect, even though it’s not. It makes a good app an absolute pain in the butt to use, since instead of sitting down to relax, and watch a show, you spend 15 minutes “fixing” an issue you didn’t even create.
This app doesn’t handle pausing in the middle of a show/movie well. It will take forever to load back up again even if you only stopped it to turn your screen off for a minute and then went back in. Also, sometimes when you go back into the show, the app will bring you back to the beginning of the episode you were watching instead of picking up where you left off, and then will make you watch commercials to jump back to the correct spot.
First I want to say that I love hulu and the wide selection of both movies and TV shows. The reasons for only 3 stars: 1. It hardly ever resumes programs where I left off even when I click resume. Too much time spent fast forwarding. 2. I pay $90 a month for live tv, no ads, and one add-on. Most of the shows I stream still have ads!! Several series that I’m watching will have a whole episode with no ads at all, but the very next episode will be full of ads. And it’s the same ads over and over!
