It’s a big step for going to Virtual drive instead of classic Folder Sync. I’ve been doing a migration of data for one month, I need to copy folder per folder to keep traceability. Sometimes copying files to virtual drive fails, a then somehow I need to find out what is missing in a folder since there is no folder size option this is really a huge problem. Sometimes I’m waiting for a few hours to get the size of some folder which has ~400Mb and around 400 books thought Virtual Drive. Please focus on the Folder Size feature on the web platform. Automatic camera upload with a separate path needed as well. I want to have the option to upload Camera folder, Whatsapp, Threema pictures separately, not only DCIM folder then I get clusterf*** with thousands of images to form Camera roll and Instant app. Mega has this solution, so far haven’t found it anywhere else. Overall this service has something I really like, can’t say what, but I have a great feel this service will be a success. The same thing I had with mega, protonmail, tresorit, and sync.

Thanks for the constructive feedback, we definitely know what you mean there and will address those on our next android update, we will focus on a better backup method with more advanced settings. We are actually launching a traditional sync app aswell soon :) The next android update is going to be a totally new, cleaner UI
Icedrive is OK, nothing wow. There are plenty of other services with 10GBs of FREE cloud storage space. You need to increase your free storage size to at least 15GBs, in order to compete with Gapps, (15GBs), Mega (15GBs) and Box (10GBs). There are also some bugs: dark mode turns on by itself. Your dark mode should be amoled black in order improve readability. Right now it’s difficult to read the file details. Ditto with the light mode. Work on all these and I’ll give you 5 stars.

Clean interface but lack of features compared to others. Not able to download folders seems one of the issue. Would love to be able to do these in the encrypt folder: 1. Preview image and press next instead of selecting one by one (the web version is ok) 2. Ability to play video. Instead of download and then manually open the file (again, the web version is ok) 3. Move files between normal and encrypted storage

- Hi Safwan! Actually you can download folders, although this feature is available only for paid users. We can implement moving files between non-crypto and crypto folders – this involves downloading a file to your device with subsequent enciphering and uploading to crypto folder, unattended. If that sounds okay, we’ll surely add this feature.
